What user information is collected and how is it used?
The basic principle we follow when developing the AryTask app and website is to request the minimum amount of user information necessary to ensure the proper functioning of the service.
AryTask may request personal information when you use the service (for example, when you fill out a registration form or login form). You are not required to provide the requested information, but then we cannot guarantee the correct operation of the service.
If you provided your functional email address during authorization or registration with AryTask, you will receive two types of notifications at this address: information critical to the functioning of the service and optional information. Critical information includes registration information, as well as information related to a paid subscription, if you have one. Optional information includes notifications about important changes in the operation of the AryTask service, as well as information about changes in pricing conditions, including discounts and gifts. To opt out of receiving critical information, you must delete your account in the application; in this case, optional information will also not be sent. To opt out of receiving only optional information, simply follow the link in the email sent to your email address.
AryTask also collects aggregated and anonymous user data regarding the use of the application. The information we collect is used solely to improve the quality of the service.
We use third-party providers and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, data storage, and other technologies required to run AryTask. We only share personal information with these companies if you have given your consent or if it is permitted by data protection law. While AryTask owns the code, databases, and all rights to the AryTask application, you retain all rights to your data. We do not store your databases on our servers until you synchronize with our service. We will never disclose your personal data to third parties without your prior consent.
The mobile application on Android and iOS may require permission to access the device’s location on a continuous basis. This permission is necessary so that you can link the location to the task and receive notifications about the start of the task in accordance with this location (geo-notifications). To receive notifications about approaching or moving away from the location specified in the task, GPS must be enabled on the device and access to the location must be provided on a continuous basis. You can revoke permission to access your location at any time in your device’s operating system settings. However, geolocation notifications will stop working. When you enable permission and GPS, geolocation notifications will resume.
Do we use cookies?
We use cookies to store user settings and to customize web page content based on browser type or other information sent by the visitor. Cookies are necessary for the AryTask website to function.
How do we protect user information?
We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction of data. We only grant access to personal information to those employees who need to know that information in order to operate and maintain our service. These individuals have signed a non-disclosure agreement and may be subject to disciplinary action, including termination and criminal prosecution.
To use certain features of the AryTask website or application, you must create an account and provide a functional email address and password. You should be careful when sharing your password with others—you are responsible for the actions of those with whom you share your password.
All data and information transmitted through AryTask is encrypted using SSL protocol.
