Outsourcing marketplaces are swarmed by scammers and poor performers. On Task Army we screen the service providers before they can be listed: every single service has been approved manually.
Outsourcing smaller tasks should be much easier than it is today. Who wants to go through one week of hiring process just to get one article written? Nobody. (This is why you end up doing it yourself)
Also, lower prices are not the priority on Task Army, only a side effect of geo-arbitrage. We don’t encourage the freelancers to push their prices down, we call the bidding system you find on other outsourcing marketplaces abominauctions.

I was told (after the fact) that I was going to be charged just to download the files I sent to be transcribed. THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! I had the entire 40 minutes transcribed by another professional for less than what you wanted to charge me for just the first 6 minutes.
I will NOT be using taskarmy again!
