Past experiences
Having been a sysadmin for several commercial blogs I'm well versed on running large Wordpress installs and the issues that arise with them. Blogs I've managed have been simultaneously on the front page of Digg Reddit Fark & /.and rocked along as planned but without costing the earth to run. I'm UK based and worked in IT security for 18 years and an old-school university before that & even married an IT business analyst.
