I was thinking i wanted to get into more of the creative side of marketing but im not sure if it would make sense to minor in multimedia as a better career choice it was that or business management and marketing.
I don't know too much about the details of a marketing major i do know that there are many jobs in that area and I don't want to get stuck with a major that is useless after i have my degree.
also math isn't my best subject.
I'd really like to hear from someone who has a degree in marketing

First, I don't have a degree in marketing, but in art. Second, I'm an independent (home business) online marketer. But I do think your idea is a sound one,
The problem with marketing schools is that marketing today mostly means online marketing and that moves so fast that the schools are way behind the action. And the schools don't even mention 2 of the hottest areas - affiliate marketing and video marketing.
The best online marketing is done scientifically, through A/B and multivariate testing and such, so some background in statistics is a help - but you don't have to be a stats expert.
You didn't mention writing, but if you decide later to freelance, you'll need to learn copywriting. Also, creativity and problem-solving skills are crucial at every level of marketing.
