How practical is getting a job doing web development? I'm currently a student at a major Canadian university in an Undergraduate Computer Science program. I have working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, etc.. and Graphics design. Webdev interests me because it seems to be the most likely way of getting by as a freelancer or part of a small company. "Normal" jobs suck, and this is something I actually enjoy : P Right now I'm working with a small startup company for a couple hundered a month + equity, but I only got that position via a friend. What's it like finding projects, and how much can you expect to be paid? Would it be practical to work part-time Webdev, and part-time something else at the same time?
Thanks : )

There are a lot of people looking for web developers. Search for job postings on the net, like on freelancer.com, and choose. There is a pretty high demand in the marketplace for people like you.
