Freelance Writer Rates

There are numerous avenues in which to freelance write/to purchase a freelance-writer's services. Here, I will drive you down some of the roads associated with this process, and give an overview of some of the rates. First off it is important to know the level of quality a customer is seeking. The company in which I'm currently freelancing for has a pay scale that is directly tied to the writer's expertise, past-five articles(and their quality), and customer satisfaction. A freelancer at this establishment can also receive what is known as "direct orders" in which residual customers can specifically request someone.
This means more money for the writer.
Whether you are a prospective writer, or a customer, you can locate the rates of this company on their home page. I am fairly new to writing for them, but I can tell you that the pay is O.K. if you enjoy your craft. I have sold other publications via freelance though and it was always a pleasant experience. But nothing is as financially secure as composing full time at a publication.
As for rates from a customer's perspective, I've read only great reviews on blogs concerning the rate-to-article ratio here. Sure as with anything in life, everyone can't be pleased all of the time. This company/the previous customers I've penned for so far have been reasonable. The rate of pay for my three star rating was low(0.01 cents per word), but I am working relentlessly to raise my rating in order to earn more money per article. There are four "star" rating levels here. Two,three, four, and five stars(five of course the best, and it is only reserved for professional writers).
Lastly, direct orders(so I'm told) are the most lucrative ventures for writers here. The best writers and cost for a customer is dependent on their individual needs, budget, and quality of work expected. I'm sure that you could also search the web for rates at other companies for both the writer and customer. However, I am currently writing here because I have read about this companies good reputation, and in contrast, the bad reputations of some of the other one's.
