Freelance rates are hard to set in a global economy. Buying power differs in every country, and the cost of living too.
How do you set your freelance rates?
Ask yourself, how much would you be happy to work for?
Another way to answer the question is to calculate your annual expenses, define an acceptable income and calculate how much you need to charge to get that income.
Freelance Switch has a very nice freelance rate calculator, go check it out.
Another way to look at the problem is by looking at how much the market is ready to pay for your services. Check out what other freelancers with similar experience are charging for their work (make sure they have similar costs of living to you)
Good luck setting your freelance rates!
